Character Profiles! Yippee!

||note: please do not direct'link to these pictures... if you want them, feel free to take them, I don't mind. Yadda yadda... yeah I know, like every SO site has these. In that case... what's one without them, right? ^^;;; I decided to amuse myself with them instead of being boring. Because of this, they basically are what I think of each character... eh heh heh. And, I tried to use more interesting pictures than the ones you normally see. So... enjoy!

Ashton Anchors

Uhh... yeah. ^^;;; I like this picture. Hee hee... barrels! Ha ha ha... oh, you're probably wondering, "Why on EXPEL is Ashton first?" Yes, I know it messes with your brain and its wonderful, BORING routines. No, Claude is not first this time. Claude is ALWAYS first on SO websites. It's almost a law of existence. Followed by Rena, then Celine, THEN Ashton, and so on and so on. So, this time Ashton gets to be first.

If you have not seen/played SO2, then you may be baffled by the two dragons on Ashton's back. Well, stay baffled. Because I don't feel like explaining, so that's just TOO BAD! ... okay, maybe I'll explain... yeah yeah, he was fighting a two-headed dragon in the Salva Drift when Claude and Rena and Celine showed up, and attempted to "cheer him on", which basically ended up distracting him. So, he turned around to tell them to be quiet, when the dragon(s) attacked him from behind and somehow ended up on his back. Some sort of a curse. Rena thought they were cute (and they are! ^^) and later she named them. The red one is Gyoro and the blue one is Ururun. He wasn't too happy about them at first, but then after going through this whole entire quest to exorcise them decides that they aren't that bad. Because there wasn't a way to get them off without killing them, and he didn't really want them to die. What a nice guy... yeah. Anyway...

ABOUT THE BARREL THING

Yay, barrels! To quote Ashton, "Barrel... colorful barrel... barrel BARREL barrel BARREL barrel BARREL barrel BARREL barrel BARREL." Yupyup. The SO2 guide manual thing that came with the game describes him as a "serious-minded fighter", but how serious-minded can you be when you're obsessed with barrels...?

WHO? Ashton. WHAT? Barrels. WHEN? Uh, his whole life, as far as I know. WHERE? Everywhere there is a barrel. WHY? dot dot dot... nobody knows, nor dare asks. There! The answer to all your questions! Uhh... huh. Right... moving on...

Chisato Madison

Yes, she is next. She is always LAST, and deserves a higher place. So here she is. I am sorry I don't have a less usual picture here, but it's the only one I have that is only her. She amuses me. I unfortunately somehow missed getting her in my game, which is REALLY annoying considering I made the mistake of leaving Leon at that little place to wait for his parents. Nooooo Leon, don't die!!! Whaaaa.... anyway, after that I was really looking forward to getting Chisato in the party. But, in the cave that someone later told me that she joins you in, I somehow overlooked where she was and so now I don't have her either. So now I have to play it all over again and make sure to get her and keep Leon! Hmm... anyway, you don't need to know about my gaming experiences here.

When I said she amuses me, I mean what I've seen of her. Since I haven't gotten her in the party. But when I saw her before that, she would freak out and run into walls and stuff. It was funny. Guilty pleasures... hee hee hee... anyway, for those of you who don't know anything about her, she is a reporter. Oh yeah, you probably noticed her elfish ears. I'm used to them by now... like Ashton's dragons. Because of the ears, you can tell she is a Nedian. (Aside from the fact that she is on the planet Nede. ^^;;;)

Noel Chandler

Sorry, I have the same picture-drought problem with Noel. Well, as you can see, he's a Nedian too. He's one of those weird anime people who never opens their eyes. He is kind of a nature freak, so some people don't like him. It leads him to not like battling, and some people view that as wimpy. I don't really mind it though, but his voice clips are sometimes annoying. Like when you enter a battle, "Shouldn't we just... run away?" Well, it fits his personality I guess. It just seems exaggerated sometimes. Of course, he's a healer. 'Of course' because of the fact that he is opposed to hurting anything so much, and just because he's a Nedian. His graphics in the game are really weird though, and at first I thought he was another Fellpool like Leon. But it's just that the people who drew him on the game made his ears look really big. It's strange...

Claude C. Kenni

It's Claude! Yay. Uh, I think if you are here, then you already know who Claude is and why on Earth he's NOT on Earth! Some random notes... his favorite food is steak. His birthday is January 23. Nobody really knows what the "C." stands for. And I hope, for his sake, that it's not "Claude"! Claude Claude Kenni... anyway, he's 19 years old. He is from Earth, but you knew that already... and my friend has a Neopet named ClaudeK and he is a Gelert. So, I decided to modify an existing picture of a Gelert... whahaha! Oh, random fact, if you look closely at a manga picture of him (like the one here, but it's kinda small), look at the emblem thing on his sleeve. It says "Crawd C. Kenny". Yay! Engrish! ^^;; And one more fact that everyone should always keep in their brain at all times... Claude is NOT a jerk! ^^ He may be somewhat dense at times, but he is most certainly not a jerk.

Whahaha... please give me credit if you use this, because I am proud of it... ^-^

Rena Lanford

Yeah, I think you also know who Rena is. Well her last name can also be spelled "Landford", depending on how you translate it. Anyway... she is also a Nedian, but you don't really find that out until the end of Disc 1. It seems obvious when you look back at it, considering she has the ears and she's a really good healer. But I guess you don't know in the beginning because no other Nedians are on Expel, so you don't quite know about Nedians. Also, she was adopted when she was only two years old; that's why she doesn't know why she has the strange healing power. Aww, it's little baby Rena. ^^

Leon D. S. Geeste

Leon! Everyone's favorite cat-person. =^^= Okay well actually the species is Fellpool. He is arrogant at times (okay, pretty much all the time), but for some reason he isn't annoying. He always carries his books around, and actually fights with them... WHACK! oww... dictionary. Heh heh... well he's the youngest of the characters (he's only 12 years old), and this sometimes is evident in certain situations... like when he and Claude washed ashore after almost drowning off of a ship, and he thinks everyone else is dead. Quote... "NO, NO, NOOOOOOO! WAAAAAAAAAAAH!!" Yes, that's an exact quote... check the log to see more stuff like that. ^^;;; And, like Claude, nobody knows what D. S. stands for... and you can only get Leon in Claude's game, unfortunately.

Precis F. Neumann

Again, the middle name syndrome... anyway, she is ultra hyper, which is why some people don't like her. To quote Claude, "She's more like a tornado than a teenager." She's kind of funny sometimes though, in my opinion anyway. She develops a crush on Claude rather quickly, which upsets Rena... but I won't go into it. She is the second youngest character, at age 16. I feel like quoting again, this time to show her hyperness... *talking about Bobot* "Really? Phew! It just hit me, you know? Maybe it's a BAD name, I mean, who knows...? Know what I mean?" *little music note* And she said it all really quickly. Yeah... and her voice clips can be very strange as well... seriously, the voice actor must have inhaled a whole lot of helium to get their voice to sound like that. And what she says is sometimes funny, yet sometimes very scary... like when she goes down in battle, sometimes she'll say, "I'm getting sleepy..." or, "Wow! Very red!" which is funny, but also sometimes when you enter a battle she'll say, "There's Mr. Enemy!" which is very scary. And she says "okay" a lot, in voice clips and in written dialogue. Come to think of it, the pic used in this profile is in the beginning of manga book #5, and she is saying, "okay, okay!" Basically, Rena said it best when Precis joins your party... (sorry to quote again but oh well) "I guess things will start to get lively now." Yes, certainly lively...

Celine Jules

Yeah... Celine is fairly showy, and likes to look at any jewelry she can get her hands on. In the game, she says "darling" quite often sprinkled around in her sentences, leading you to believe she has some sort of British accent or something. But in the voice clips, she just has a normal accent. It's just because it was translated weirdly... in Japanese she used the "you" form "anata", which is kind of an affectionate form and is sometimes translated as "darling". In the anime, she is terrified of bugs and there is an amusing scene with a caterpillar... nya ha ha...

Bowman Jean

Flattering picture, huh? ^^;;; sorry about that... well, Bowman is a pharmacologist, and when you first meet him in the game he makes you go find him an unidentified herb in a cave, which annoyed me. You are just trying to get this thing translated, but he doesn't believe you that you went down all the way through that cave, even though you have the book to prove it. *sigh* Bowman... so, after you go and get the herb (actually you end up finding a really rare one instead of an unidentified one, but Bowman still accepts it) then he tells that guy to translate your book thing. What I'm wondering is what happens if you chose not to have Celine in your party. Since it IS her fault you had to go get that book, and then go and get it translated... I don't know. Also, you can't have Bowman in your party if you got Precis. It's one or the other.

Opera Vectra and Ernest Raviede

I put them both together for two reasons. One, I don't know much about either of them because I got Ashton instead, and two, it just makes perfect sense. Considering the circumstances... and no, Opera is not a little tiny midget! That's just one of the only pics I had... oops. ^^;; Anyway, for what I know, they are both Tetragenes which is why they have three eyes. And somehow they got on Expel and Opera's chasing Ernest around. That's about all I know... oh, someone told me that Opera is a good fighter because she can hit jumping enemies without jumping herself. Ernest isn't a very good fighter, but he does have a cool whip thing. No, not Cool-Whip... ^^;; I didn't even mean to do that! Bad pun! Anyway, you can't get Opera without getting Ernest, and vice versa.

Dias Flac

Bleh... he goes LAST. I don't care if some of you people think he's the greatest thing to set foot in the universe. I don't like him. Even if he does have a tragic past and such. He is reticent and has a brusque manner (see, Mrs. Siggers? I used some vocab words! ^^;;) so... just decide on your own. I don't really hate him like I used to, but I still don't like him. Heh, I was reading my manga at my grandparents' house and I was at the part with the Tournament of Arms... he was up against Claude, and I started excitedly saying, "Kill him, Claude, kill him!!!" ...It freaked out my grandparents. Oops. ^^;;
