Katsucon 9! Where I almost hyperventilated and died! Yay!

There were some really good cosplayers here! By "cosplay", I don't necessarily mean that they were in the cosplay event thing... just that they were walking around in costume. Like me! ^-^ Anyway, I will put photos up here as soon as I can get them from Kiko-chan. ^^ Some people I will have pics of...
Star Ocean 2/EX
The SO2 people there were... Claude, Rena, Celine, Ashton, Dias, Dias (yes, two of them), Leon (me! ^^ ), Opera, Ernest, Ernest (yup, two of them too), and Chisato. All we were missing were Precis and Noel... there was gonna be a Precis, but they couldn't make it. There were apparently TWO Bowmans running around, but we saw neither of them. cry I asked various people wearing lab coats if they were Bowman, and they just seemed confused. ^^;;

Yes, there were cool .hack people! There was a Tsubaka and an Elk (from the game). We accidentally called Elk "Tsukasa", but I think that's just because we were on a .hack//SIGN high, since we had just gotten out of the video room where we had watched it... ^^;;

Quotes!

Alrighty, here are some random quotes from people at the con...

"These shoes are so ghe~tto." -Claude, about his own shoes, in his British accent (well, Dias #2's impression of him saying that, anyway.)

"Precis? Where?!" -Ashton, after hearing a vague mention of Precis

"Hi, I believe your sign!" -a couple different people, after seeing the sign on my (Leon's) back that said, "Look at me, I'm smarter than you!"

"If you were really smarter than me, you wouldn't put a bull's-eye on your back." -some security guard guy, annoyed after seeing my sign and not realizing it was in-character

"Na-uh!" "Ya-huh!" "Na-uh!" "Ya-huh!" "Na-uh!" "Ya-huh!" ... etc. for a while... -a conversation between me and some guy who saw my sign

"Yay, we have a stalker!" -me, after Chicken-Head-Man randomly decided to follow us

"I'm sorry, but Leon is just cooler than Dias!" -some guy who wanted my picture and not Dias #1's... shortly followed by Dias attacking me with those shoulder armor things. Nyaa~!
